The Swarovski Collective: GILES A/W 2012 Swarovski is delighted to present GILES as one of the designers selected to be part of the Swarovski Collective Autumn/Winter 2012. In his latest collection, volumes of burnt organza and oversized tapestry prints were augmented using hand-embroidered beads by Swarovski Elements, while sheer gowns were intricately sewn with crystals to mimic frozen ferns growing across the body.

New York, June 12 - In an exclusive film presented by Swarovski, Jason Wu reflects on the inspiration behind his Resort 2013 collection. Naturalistic elements and intricate embroideries running throughout the collection are represented with insect and flower motifs created with hundreds of Swarovski Elements, inspired by the work of artist Mike Libby. Wu paired this nature motif with the rigor and strictness of a 1960’s inspired silhouette.
